How Texans Did (or Did Not) Vote in 2016

The chart displays the participation or lack thereof by Texans in the 2016 presidential election. The data are provided by the Texas secretary of state with the exception of the voting eligible population, which is from the United States Election Project Web site by Michael McDonald. The percentages are a percentage of the voting-eligible population, which is the voting-age population adjusted for non-citizens and ineligible felons (prisoners, probation, parole). Votes are with 99.96 percent of precincts reported.
