Nostalgia: It's a Good Thing

Fifty years ago, 1963, I was a second lieutenant in the US Air Force, stationed at Vance AFB, Enid, OK for Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) in class 65-A. At that time, pilot training at Vance AFB was conducted in T-37 “tweetie Birds” and T-33 “Shooting Stars.” However, our class was to be the first at Vance AFB to fly the T-38 “Talon” instead of the T-33.
